As a new Restoration Technician or Crew Chief at SERVPRO of Elk Grove/Laguna, you will be a part of a team of quality people who focus on excellent service, fairness, and mutual respect.The Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle. The Restoration Crew Chief is the leader of the team and provides the customer with a single point of contact to communicate with. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Restoration Technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry. We have a sincere drive toward the goal of helping make fire and water damage "Like it never even happened"Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform production processes, demolition and other labor intensive tasksInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all timesCommunicate with Production Manager, Crew Chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processesPerform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearanceBe On-Call once every 3 weeks for after hours jobs emergency response and over-time hoursPosition RequirementsEffective oral communication with basic math and computer skillsExperience in cleaning/restoration preferredHigh school diploma/GEDIICRC certifications preferredValid drivers licenseAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning products/chemicalsAbility to travel locally and out of state when necessaryAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawPay Rate Starts at $17-$28/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit.All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated Servpro Franchise. Servpro Franchise employees are not employed by, jointly employed by, agents of or under the supervision or control of Servpro Franchisor, LLC (the Franchisor), in any manner whatsoever.
