Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Location: Macon, GA 31210

Duration: 2+ months with full possibility of extension

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am – 1pm

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Job Responsibilities:

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
• Follow established practices and procedures for specimen collection and processing
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Verify patient demographic information and ensure correct labeling of tubes
• Create a trustful environment by explaining procedures and demonstrating skillful, safe, and accurate blood draws
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence and patient confidentiality
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
