Tell Me About My Job:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture, data pipelines, and infrastructure that support our data-driven initiatives and projects we implement for our clients. You will work closely with data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently and securely. Your work will be critical in enabling our teams to leverage data to drive business insights and decisions. You will help us focus and develop our accelerator that we offer to our existing clients and also work as a consultant for different client projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines to process large volumes of data from various sources.
  • Develop and implement data models and databases that align with business requirements and optimize for performance.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data pipelines and storage systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, data pipelines, and related processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for data management, including data governance, data privacy, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and propose innovative solutions to enhance our data infrastructure.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure or Snowflake.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes
