Logistics Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

  • Exposure to the day to day buying and network transportation and logistics of Company parts and machines.
  • This role will be directly responsible for ensuring the right capacity at the right time is provided to our customers.
  • There is a direct impact to our customers in this role.

  • Hybrid – 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office
  • Pay range $19-22/hr depending on experience and benefits.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing of rate requests and spot quotes to support critical and ad-hoc moves within Company's Ground Transportation Network
  • Procurement data analyst support for Open Equipment, Container Drayage, Rail and Transloading
  • Investigating rate invoice disputes
  • Submitting approval requests for purchasing recommendations.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Logistics required. Will accept a new grad.
  • 2-4 years Logistics or buying experience


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical skills | Experience with Microsoft Excel (Basic, v-lookups and pivot table experience preferred), Word & PowerPoint
  • Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce
  • Professional Phone & Email Communication with Internal Customers
  • Suppliers and Leadership.
  • Able to work with external and internal teams/suppliers.
