With nearly 9,000 dedicated team members in North America and 33,000 globally, every year Prysmian manufactures thousands of miles of underground and underwater cables for power transmission and distribution, medium and low voltage cables for construction and infrastructure as well as a comprehensive range of optical fibers, copper cables and connectivity for voice, video, and data transmission for telecommunications.Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is committed to excellence as we help transform the world around us.ObjectivesManage over $200MM+ of combined lockbox, ACH, wire and counter depositsObtain Debit Memo's when not provided prior to payment from customersID & document all deductions and attach to all documentsPrep payments in advance of large depositsCommunicate deductions via email to all Sales Reps & D & R SpecialistsKeep senior management advise on all deposits dailyTest ERP system for updates made to NetSuite periodically through the yearAnswer auditor requests with urgencyCommunicate Non-Trade AR to accounting or otherProvide Statements to customers on a scheduled basis (via excel & outlook)Provide backup to D & R Specialists for freight claim depositsOffset CR/DR memos as requested by management or D & R SpecialistsManage all documents on server in an organized fashionRequired SkillsExtremely organized (includes physical & online files)Excellent time management skillsTEAM PLAYER Able to work well with other team members and offers to assist where others need it without management directiveProficient in ExcelGreat communication skills is an absolute requirement as communication via telephone is our preferred method of communication over emailThorough documentation skills (leaving notes for on deductions for others to see if needed)Punctual and great attendance, can self-manage work hours based on workloadProficient in Cash Applications using CSV uploads and manual processingPreferred5 years or more of cash application experienceNetSuite / OracleExcel Pivot Table / V-LookupPrysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
