The Director is a servant-leader with 30 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. This is a close-knit EP Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our EP Lab offers state-of-art technology and medical devices. The Cardiovascular Tech, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, assist physician in a scrub-assistant role, and circulates to include all diagnostic EP and cardiac ablations procedures, device implants and explants, and procedures to ensures safe patient care. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position, eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Either of the following is required in lieu of the required education:
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification OR
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Preferred)
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Preferred)
- BLS
- ACLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in Cardiac Cath lab or EP lab
- For less than 1 year EP experience, must have graduated from an accredited academic program with a dedicated EP curriculum and successful completion of EP clinical rotations
- Must have a strong knowledge base in Electrocardiograms, rhythm analysis, sterile technique, cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and radiation protection
