Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates Laser CNC Swiss Machines to process parts to blueprint specifications, following instructions and applying knowledge of operating procedures.

Essential Job Functions
- Setup and run multiple CNC laser Swiss machines.
- Conduct first piece and in-process quality checks.
- Maintain tooling inventory, equipment, and supplies.
- Review, investigation, and completion of required daily documentation.
- Utilizes and abides by requirements and safety procedures.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Completes all required documentation and SPC required.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and understand blueprints (GDT).
- The ability to perform quality checks on parts utilizing the proper instruments, such as micrometers, and calipers.
- Knowledge of tooling concepts, machining practices, and troubleshooting and debugging processes is required.
- Able to work flexible hours and over time when required to meet customer demand.
- General computer skills.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Laser Swiss CNC Setup Operator.
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot Laser CNC Swiss machines.
Physical Requirements
Paragon Medical is a manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position, including sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. The employee is expected to perform actions that include bending, kneeling, or crouching, reach, push, and/or pull objects. The ability to lift up to to 50 lbs with support. The employee will be required to communicate with others and work in a noisy environment. Paragon Medical will provide any reasonable accommodation to the for mentioned physical requirements.
