Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team on a fulltime basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures producing highquality images and assisting with patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal pelvic obstetrical vascular and small parts exams

Operate ultrasound equipment to produce highquality images for interpretation by a radiologist or physician

Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure their comfort and cooperation during the exam

Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures performed

Assist with patient care including positioning monitoring and providing support as needed

Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis

Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Communicate effectively with patients colleagues and other healthcare professionals

Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities as required

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program

Current certification as an Ultrasound Technician

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and producing highquality images

Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Current CPR certification

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
