Locum Tenens Pediatrician Opportunity Near Paterson, NJ We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatrician for a locum tenens position near Paterson, NJ. Position Highlights: Profession: Physician Specialty: Pediatrics Rate Type: Hourly Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: Days Shift Details: Shift(s) Description: 3 days a week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but some flexibility on days and times) Weekend Requirements: N/A On Call Requirements: 8 call nights a month (flexible) Responsibilities: Practice Setting: Office Reason for Coverage: Physician out on leave Schedule: 3 days a week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call Schedule: 8 call nights a month (flexible) Patient Load: Average number of well check visits per day: About 12 Average number of patients per day: 15-18 Support Staff: Each provider has a Medical Assistant (MA) assigned daily 2 front desk staff and 1 office manager Number of Exam Rooms: Each provider has 2 exam rooms Documentation System/EMR: Athena Required Pediatric Procedures: Outpatient Pediatrics Certification and Licensing Requirements: Board Certified: Required New Jersey State License: Required BLS, ACLS: Preferred Provider Must be Local: Only mileage is reimbursed (required) Additional Information: Practice Details: Number of physicians in practice: 2 and 1 mid-level No deliveries required No other pediatricians will provide coverage during locum coverage dates Locum will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers Job Description: We are looking for a locums Pediatrician to start as soon as credentialed to provide excellent pediatric care in an outpatient setting. The position requires working 3 days a week, with flexibility in days and times, and covering 8 call nights a month, which is also flexible. The physician will see an average of 15-18 patients per day, including well check visits. Each provider is supported by a dedicated MA, front desk staff, and an office manager. Why Join Us?
