The Private Client Banker (PCB) is part of the Key Private Client Program and will focus on the entire client relationship with a plan-based approach to financial advice. As a PCB, you will deliver and refer appropriate financial solutions to KeyBank's client base with up to $2M in investable assets. The PCB helps new and existing clients achieve confidence in their financial wellness by assessing their financial needs, gathering and documenting client data, and offering appropriate products and services. PCBs identify products and services to meet client needs and refer to appropriate sales professionals in Retail, Key Investment Services, Private Bank, Mortgage or Business Banking. We take pride in serving our clients and making them feel that no bank will fight harder for them.Essential functions include embodying a strong client experience culture, listening for financial wellness opportunities, consistently attaining goals, building a client referral pipeline, developing knowledge of products and services, opening personal and business accounts, developing partnerships, ensuring compliance, supporting branch operations, participating in huddles, working on Saturdays, and complying with all KeyBank policies.Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required) or Bachelor's Degree (preferred).Work experience includes developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, building referral sources in insurance and investment products, foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques, comfortable interacting with small business clients, interpersonal interaction skills, influencing business partners, working knowledge of PCs, and working knowledge of digital technology.Licenses and certifications required include FINRA License S6, FINRA License S63, FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE), and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.Skills include knowledge about client's accounts, ability to attain sales and referral goals, strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, providing expert advice on managing finances, building and nurturing relationships with clients, evaluating financial situations, identifying and developing new client relationships, developing relationships with high-net-worth clients, staying updated with market trends, and analyzing market conditions.Core competencies include demonstrating KeyBank's values and abiding by KeyBank's Code of Conduct.Physical demands include prolonged standing, frequent use of hands, ability to communicate face to face and on the phone, occasional bending and lifting, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1 10 lbs., and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.Driving requirements include the ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.Work location category is Branch.Compensation and benefits include a base hourly rate in the range of $24.52 - $37.50 per hour, placement within the pay range may differ based on various factors, and compensation also includes incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
