JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a skilled NLP and AI Tool Development Specialist to join our team and spearhead the creation of innovative tools leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role requires a strong background in backend API development, UX design, and experience in scripting languages like Python and Java. The successful candidate will work within an Azure environment, managing machine learning projects and utilizing Microsoft marketplace products to develop cutting-edge AI solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and Enhance NLP Tools: Lead the design and development of new tools using NLP and AI technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Backend API Development: Design and implement robust backend APIs to support new AI-driven tools and applications.
  • UX Design: Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive user interfaces that enhance the user experience.
  • Manage NLP Technologies: Oversee the implementation and management of NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, SPaCy, and Hugging Face.
  • Operational Improvements: Identify and execute operational improvements, including automating manual processes, performing data quality checks, and enhancing error handling and recovery processes.
  • Data Acquisition and Management: Work closely with data science teams to determine data needs, identify new uses for existing data, and integrate data into AI and machine learning projects.
  • Agile and DevOps Practices: Apply Agile methodology and DevOps practices to ensure efficient project delivery and support cross-functional teams.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the technical field.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • 5+ years of experience in Analytics, AI, or Machine Learning.
  • Proven experience in backend API development and UX design.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, R, C++, PySpark, and Scala.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with NLP technologies and frameworks.
  • Azure Environment: Experience working in an Azure environment, including leveraging Microsoft marketplace products for AI and machine learning projects.
