This position follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule:

  • In person: Monday to Friday
  • Remote: Weekends


Summary of Position

Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Regional Manager, this position’s primary focus is managing the last miletrucking execution for frac sand. This includes daily monitoring of performance against a pre-defined plan, validating things such as trip time, turn ratios, tonnage per day, and escalating deviations from the original plan as necessary. The role will also include receiving material demand from live job metrics and translating the information into a delivery schedule to effectively communicate needs to carrier dispatch team.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2-5 years in a logistics or trucking dispatch related role considered an asset
  • Dispatch software experience considered an asset
  • Prior Frac or oilfield experience considered an asset
  • Microsoft Office 365

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understands key parameters of a trucking plan as it pertains to fracturing operations.
  • Monitors real time dashboards to identify deviations from trucking plan.
  • Generates trucking demand in logistics/dispatch software and assigns these loads to carriers.
  • Ownership of Last Mile Trucking for assigned area and responsible for success of daily delivery execution.
  • Understanding logistics plan for all active jobs for assigned area.
  • Oversight of carrier performance and truck schedule optimization.
  • Provides prompt communication and issue resolution with carriers as necessary.
  • Adjusts truck schedules as necessary to minimize the impact of issues that may arise.
  • Understands of the “Total landed cost” scenario for a particular job and provides feedback to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Focuses on innovation and creating efficiencies.
  • Daily interactions with Liberty Energy Operations Team.
  • Some travel expectations.
