Job Description Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Solution Architect Houston, TX (Onsite) Contract $65/hour Design and deliver scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions that drive digital transformation and business growth. A global technology services organization is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Solution Architect to lead solution design, development, and integration across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver end-to-end Microsoft-based solutions that enhance efficiency, governance, and user adoption. This is a fully onsite position based in Houston, TX. Position Overview The Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to define solution strategies, implement Dynamics 365 modules, and leverage the Microsoft Power Platform for automation, reporting, and integration. This role is responsible for translating business challenges into scalable technical architectures, overseeing solution delivery, and ensuring long-term maintainability across Microsoft ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and desired business outcomes. Design, develop, and deliver Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and reports. Lead workshops and discovery sessions to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Architect secure, scalable CRM and ERP solutions using Dynamics 365 modules. Integrate Dynamics 365 with Power Platform, Azure services, and other enterprise applications. Provide best-practice guidance on governance, security, compliance, and solution roadmaps. Create detailed solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans. Mentor application SMEs and provide technical oversight during implementation. Collaborate with engineering and product delivery teams to align on project requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues and support change management and adoption efforts. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 10+ years of experience in IT, with significant expertise in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture and delivery. Proven track record of implementing Dynamics 365 solutions in complex, enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of Azure integration, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to design scalable, secure, and compliant architectures aligned with Microsoft best practices. Preferred Experience & Skills Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure Architecture. Experience leading end-to-end CRM or ERP digital transformation projects. Hands-on experience with custom application development using Power Platform tools. Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and lifecycle management. Ability to coach teams and influence enterprise-wide technology adoption.
