Position Overview: We are currently looking for a high performing Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Team located in Radnor, PA. This position will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager and will perform a wide variety of accounting duties such as the creation of journal entries, preparation of support schedules and account reconciliations for balance sheet assets and liabilities. Responsibilities also include performing assisting in process improvements, process documentation, and ad hoc projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare support for, and record required journal entries related to areas as assigned Participate, as a major contributor, in the completion of month-end and year end closing and financial reporting processes in a timely fashion to meet assigned deadlines Ensure that all assigned general ledger balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and advise the accounting leadership of any potential exposures in a timely manner Analysis of general ledger account balances, including making recommendations for adjustments Work cross functionally with the company's financial planning & analysis team and inventory accounting group Assist in the development of documented process narratives and/or training material while identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements to create efficiencies and reduce time frames for deliverables in the financial close and reporting processes Assist on various requests related to tax filings, audit, compliance, ad-hoc reporting, special project analyses and administrative needs as assigned Participate in the development and implementation of a SOX compliant framework of internal controls Participate in periodic audits by internal and external organizations Committed to continual process improvement and best in class performance Preferred Knowledge and Skills:A. or B.S. in accounting, finance or associated discipline 1 - 4 years of accounting experience Manufacturing experience is a plus Demonstrated to be a critical thinker and have strategic and analytical acumen in previous positions Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and presentation skills Experience with SAP systems is a plus Ability to work independently as well as with a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Our Commitment to a Diverse Workforce: FXI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
