*Responsibilities:*
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency room
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs based on acuity
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Assist with medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth for medical documentation
- Provide basic life support and emergency interventions as needed
*Requirements:*
- Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- BSN Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an emergency room setting
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures
- Proficient in medical coding and documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
