Want to make an impact with us?The Manager of Acquisition Marketing oversees all aspects of marketing related to the company's residential internet products to attract and acquire new customers. This position is responsible for developing marketing strategies, campaigns, and supporting materials to increase revenue and sales, ensuring messaging and promotions resonate with the target audience, while working together with sales. This role will support and provide any assets necessary to aid in acquisition efforts, digest feedback from the field & sales teams, and pivot strategy(ies) and/or tactics to address the market's needs.This role is responsible for driving subscriber growth across Fiber, FWA, and DSL services.This role involves working directly with a variety of internal and external clientele, including various internal departments, sales team members, property managers, and residential customers from a variety of backgrounds.Additionally, the Manager of Acquisition Marketing is responsible for tracking and reporting campaign results, sales numbers day-to-day, determining effective tactics, and locking in supporting sponsorships and events within service areas to aid with brand recognition and build trust with potential customers.This role will also assist with launching new products and assisting with the go-to-market strategy and execution of new product launches.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Examples of Job Duties:Manage multiple ongoing projects, campaigns, relationships, support efforts, events, and strategic planning simultaneously while meeting set deadlines.Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase and drive new customer acquisition across multiple print, media, and digital platforms.Partner with multiple areas of marketing to drive awareness and growth, such as digital, acquisition, events, product, and public relations.Manage campaigns and projects that directly affect marketing acquisition numbers and efforts.Develop, distribute, and track results for the various campaigns developed to drive acquisition.Understand and communicate the value of our products to customers, translating this into collateral, website content, and other marketing tactics.Collaborate with the agency of record on campaign strategies, creative and tactic development.Work with various departments to ensure strategic alignment while selling a product.Drive new revenue to support, meet, and exceed company goals.Manage, maintain and renew military, chamber of commerce, and other sponsorship/event opportunities within applicable service areas.Plan and execute a variety of customer-facing events supporting acquisition efforts in appropriate markets. Some events and sponsorships may require travel.Competency Statements:Strategic Familiar and able to develop strategic plans, campaigns, and tactics to drive acquisition.Accuracy Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.Communication Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written methods.Detail Oriented Ability to ingest and identify details within creative and other collateral.Organized Be organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.Time Management Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.Working Under Pressure Ability to complete assigned tasks under fast-paced environment and stressful situations.Project Management track and manage projects across the department.Team Oriented Able to work well with a variety of team members, customers, and other professionals.Minimum Qualifications:Education Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing or an equivalent combination of training and experience in sales and marketing experience in sales production, preferably in telecommunications or other highly technical industries can be substituted year for year.Experience Required: Four (4) years of progressive sales or marketing experience in the technical field or services industry. At least one (1) year experience at Alaska Communications, or other comparable technical or service-related industry outside of the company.Computer Skills: High degree of proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Office).Strongly Preferred:Demonstrates success in selling services in a highly competitive market environment.Ability to excel in a fast-paced and complex environment with multi-projects, tight deadlines, and high customer expectations.Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Must be able to attend work consistently and predictably.Experience with CRM systems, Marketing automation and/or PowerBI reports.We hope you'll join us as we change lives through technology.
