Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) of Fresno and Clovis is a Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) licensed program that provides healthcare services to elderly and adults with chronic medical, cognitive, and/or mental health impairments to maintain their personal independence at home and prevent from inappropriate and premature institutionalization.

Presently, ADHC of Fresno and Clovis has an open part-time position for a Psychology Consultant (Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist).

Flexible days and hours.

Psychology Consultant responsibilities shall as minimum include:

1. Participates in the initial and continuing assessments of program participants and develops individualized plan of care to meet the needs of each participant.

2. Provides individual or group counseling as indicated in the care plans and maintains proper documentation in health records of program participants.

3. Consults ADHC Social Services Department on mental health and behavioral issues.

4. Supervises the treatment plan delivery and specialized techniques.

5. Serves as an integral member of the Multidisciplinary Team

6. Provides consultation services and/or training to ADHC staff at least three hours per month.

7. Liaisons with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team, family members or caregivers, other mental health providers on delivering mental health services and treatment.

8. Provides services in a therapeutic setting conducive to restoring dignity and self-esteem and good mental health to all participants to meet their needs.

*Qualifications*

- Must hold a valid LCSW or Psychologist license.
- Proficiency in conducting behavioral therapy and patient assessments.
- Experience with medical documentation, HIPAA regulations, and clinical counseling.
- Ability to develop care plans and provide patient care.
- Strong communication skills for working with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Experience in counseling and working with developmental disabilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week
