Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be based in our Roanoke, VA office to work on Federal/Military facility projects.The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the following items, but not limited to:Responsible for the overall management administration of the project and assistance in establishing project-specific objectives and policiesProvides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interfaceOversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisorsResponsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover, and contract closeoutThis position has profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projectProvides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationDue to the nature of this role, United States Citizenship is required for this positionA valid US Driver's License is required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices and as a condition of employment, the selected candidate must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records reviewPreferred Qualifications:Due to the nature of this role, ability to obtain a DoD Security ClearanceTwo (2)+ years of applicable experience ideally on projects that are $200K to $100 Million+Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other team members and disciplines, clients and contractorsStrong technical skillsExperienced using Outlook and Microsoft OfficeExperienced using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling softwareExperienced using Contract Manager or similar construction management softwareStrong organizational and management skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExceptional knowledge of construction ways, means, methods, and sequencesKnowledge of Federal, State, and local regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsResponsive to changing demandsStrong leadership skillsGood team-building skillsEmploys flexibility of methodsAdditional InformationThis position does not offer relocation assistance.Sponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
