Maintenance Technician Second ShiftThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for mold/extrusion changes, set-up, and process troubleshooting on molding machines, extruders, auxiliary, and processing equipment. This role requires a hands-on technical ability and strong troubleshooting skills to minimize equipment downtime and ensure quality production.ResponsibilitiesPerform material change-overs on liquid injection machines as per the weekly schedule.Check and complete all paperwork associated with the setup and adjustments of tooling, machines, and auxiliary equipment.Maintain high workmanship standards to produce high-quality products.Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machines and auxiliary equipment, determine root causes of machine alarms, and make necessary adjustments or repair recommendations.Initiate root cause investigations for major maintenance-related equipment failures and report findings to the Maintenance Manager.Suggest improvements for equipment maintenance to increase productivity and reduce overall costs and equipment failure.Promote teamwork and ensure maintenance work orders are opened and closed promptly.Communicate effectively with employees and management.Calibrate equipment to ensure compliance with standards.Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.Maintain a safe working environment.Communicate best practices to team members across shifts.Exhibit cooperation and professional conduct with coworkers, staff, and managers.Meet company standards for quality and productivity.Follow all procedures for traceability, process control, safety, and housekeeping.Adhere to cleanroom operation procedures, cleanroom attire, and contamination control.Essential SkillsExperience in hydraulic maintenance.Experience in electrical maintenance.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
