**Job Title:** Physical Therapist**Job Specialty:** Physical Therapy**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 8-hour day shifts**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist; clinical experience not counted. **License:** Must have a valid PT license**Certifications:** BLS required**Must-Have:** - Experience with long-term care or skilled nursing preferred- Experience in long-term recovery therapy preferred **Job Description:**- Treat 6-8 patients per day, depending on overall department caseload- Work in various settings including outpatient, inpatient swing bed, assisted living, and LTC/skilled- Treat a variety of conditions including post-surgical, orthopedic, neurologic, sports medicine, and complex medical cases- May be required to float between different care settings and see a patient in each area in one day- Collaborate with a team of 3 PTs, 1 PTA, 1 COTA, 1 OT, and 1 SLP- Follow scheduling created by the Director of Rehabilitation and Office Assistant; flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM- Occasionally work weekends (rare), no holiday work required- Wear scrubs of any color or business casual attire- Participate in a department-specific orientation provided by the Director of Rehabilitation, typically lasting 1 week- Expected to manage a full patient load of 6-8 patients/day by week 2 with a productivity expectation of 75%- Utilize EPIC for charting**Additional Information:**- Radius restriction of 30 miles applies- Report to the PT Manager/Supervisor: Director of Rehabilitation- Shifts primarily occur during the day with the possibility of floating among different patient care units.
