Job Description:

  • Client is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Regulatory Compliance Consultant it involves acting as a liaison between the operations teams and the broader Regulatory Compliance team.
  • Consultant will ensure the timely forecasting, assembling, tracking, filing, and organizing of regulatory applications essential to the company's success, handling all tasks with urgency and care.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist Regulatory Compliance team with tracking deadlines using various technologies, including proprietary issue-tracking software.
  • Provide general team support and Product & Regulatory counsel assistance as needed.
  • Ideal candidate must be hyper-organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment with external challenges, and able to work cross-functionally with Operations, Legal, and Client staffing vendor teams. Position requires working in an office 4 days a week and driving between Client sites to deliver compliance materials.
  • Maintain professionalism, care, and personal responsibility. Adhere to team culture of safety and standards of conduct. Keep all work details confidential.



Top Daily Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with field operational teams and the Regulatory Compliance team to ensure timely receipt of high-volume regulatory permits and compliance materials.
  • Assemble, track, and file digital and hardcopy regulatory applications for autonomous vehicle permits with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Track and meet renewal deadlines using various technologies, including Google Sheets and proprietary issue-tracking software.
  • Remain flexible, learn new software quickly, and suggest process improvements.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve procedural issues affecting company goals.
  • Build strong relationships and work both individually and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Support Regulatory Compliance and Product & Regulatory teams with miscellaneous tasks such as pulling records, producing vehicle or driver lists, conducting light research, and document assembly.



Mandatory:

  • Knowledge of state and federal transportation or autonomous vehicle regulations.
  • Strong familiarity with CA DMV processes.
  • Enthusiasm for autonomous vehicles and safety and compliance philosophies.
  • 2-3 years in an administrative, legal, or compliance-related role.
  • 2+ years in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • 2+ years working with proprietary software.
  • 1+ year of experience assembling and/or tracking critical documentation.
  • Strong understanding and regular usage of GSuite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc.).
  • Ability to remain flexible and quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software.


Desired:

  • Excellent people skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and/or Illustrator.



Education:

  • At least an AA in Business Administration, Legal, or a regulatory-related discipline.
