Yes, our work is incredibly serious and impactful, but we have big ambitions, bring a ton of care to pursuing them, and have a lot of fun while doing so.Job OverviewThe Global Medical Affairs Strategy Intern Solid Tumors will support the Global Medical Affairs Strategy team during a 10-week summer internship, gaining hands-on experience in how Medical Affairs drives scientific and strategic planning for early solid tumor programs within Genmab's immuno-oncology pipeline. Working closely with global cross-functional partners, the intern will lead a primary capstone projectselected based on team priorities and the intern's skillsetand complete additional supporting tasks that contribute to real-world Medical Affairs strategic initiatives. The intern will contribute to cross-portfolio Medical Affairs initiatives that support scientific alignment across early pipeline programs. Key focus areas may include building automated dashboards, supporting KOL mapping efforts, conducting scientific landscape assessments, and assisting in the development of strategic medical deliverables.What You'll DoLead a cross-portfolio Medical Affairs Strategy capstone project, which may include activities such as developing or enhancing automated dashboards, supporting insights or competitive intelligence tracking, or conducting KOL mapping and segmentation efforts. Present capstone project outcomes, including key findings and recommendations, to the Global Medical Affairs Strategy team at the end of the internship. Assist in creating internal strategic deliverables, such as slide decks, scientific background materials, and planning documents, including contributing to components of Global Medical Affairs strategic plans. Participate in team meetings and provide regular project updates, contributing to discussions on progress, insights, and strategic implications.Required Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsEnrolled in a PharmD or PhD program in biomedical sciences, oncology, immunology, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, or a related field. Strong interest in Medical Affairs, oncology, and drug development. Ability to interpret and summarize scientific literature with clarity and accuracy. Analytical skillset with experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. High attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Genuine interest in clinical research and drug development.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsDemonstrates initiative, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Prior academic or internship experience in oncology, immunology, or Medical Affairsrelated work. Familiarity with scientific conference abstracts, publications, or competitive landscapes. Strong organizational capabilities and ability to manage multiple deliverables. Willingness to provide new perspectives that enhance Medical Affairs processes or analytics. Actively engages with mentorship and integrates feedback into project deliverables.General Intern Information Date/Location/ScheduleInternships will take place June through August 2026 and be based in Princeton, NJ.
