This is a hands-on, high-ownership opportunity where you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams to devise test strategies, build automation frameworks, and seamlessly integrate testing into our CI/CD pipelines. If you have a proven track record of building or scaling manual/hybrid QA processes and are actively transitioning to full QA automation, we would love to hear from you Your specific responsibilities include: Take ownership of quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle. Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies across various services and repositories. Develop, execute, and optimize end-to-end automated tests for our web applications. Integrate and manage automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance QA effectiveness. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure confidence in releases and fast feedback loops. Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience in quality assurance for modern SaaS applications, with a blend of manual and automated testing. A demonstrated ability to evolve or scale QA practices, including automation, test coverage, and release validation within a growing engineering organization. Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. Experience in scripting or programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to develop and maintain automated tests. Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or equivalent. Experience incorporating automated testing into CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or similar). Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative, cross-functional mindset. Proactive and detail-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability. Preferred qualifications: Experience designing or extending automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing. Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines with build orchestration (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). Working knowledge of test data management, environment setup, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in developing custom test utilities or internal QA tools in Python or JavaScript. Familiarity with mocking and stubbing techniques for backend and API testing (WireMock, Pact, or similar). Exposure to tools and practices related to code quality, security, and performance testing. Understanding of version control, code review, and branching strategies relevant to test codebases. Knowledge of and experience using AI tools to support development and testing efforts. Familiarity with test management platforms such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray. An interest in building scalable, maintainable test frameworks and mentoring others in automation best practices. Strategic thinking with the ability to proactively research options, anticipate challenges, and make informed decisions. Action-oriented mindset, able to iterate and learn quickly. Collaborative and growth-minded, helping to foster a positive culture and grow with the company. Quality-focused, capable of balancing speed with the need for maintainable, scalable solutions. Persistent, demonstrating resilience when faced with complex technical challenges. What We Offer: The opportunity to own and evolve quality assurance within a growing, modern engineering organization. Collaborate directly with senior leadership to shape our QA automation strategy.
