Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or disabled clients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating and assist with ambulation
  • Medication reminding
  • Complete client’s shopping/errands
  • Perform light homemaking duties 
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Observe and report changes in client's condition
Qualifications
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Ability to safely assist with transfer with physical capability to perform job-related duties
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
  • Have a current CNA license and/or HHA certificate
  • Take pride in providing high quality care
