Our products and services help government, public safety, and commercial customers improve their operations through increased effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of their workforce.Job DescriptionNote: This is a fully remote position, open to candidates residing anywhere in the U.S. While not required, candidates located within driving distance of one of our nationwide offices are preferred.Overview: The Proposal Manager is responsible for guiding a project team in creating persuasive sales proposals that highlight company advantages. Further, the Proposal Manager will ensure that RFP responses are crafted to customer questions, and will coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure each document is both accurate and compelling.The following responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Coordinate sales proposalsAnalyze customer request for proposals (RFP) to understand requirementsIdentify opportunities and challenges in order to craft winning responsesCoordinate team responsibilities, schedule meetings, and set timelinesOrganize content into a well-formatted, cohesive documentDevelop a variety of sales documents (e.g., letters, project justifications, etc.)Review competitor materials to regularly enhance sales deliverablesOther duties as assigned by ManagementPositive attitude with willingness to learn and collaborateSpecific knowledge and skills:Bachelor's Degree preferredPreferably a background in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in persuasive writingStrong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skillsProficiency with MS Office Suite, Google Suite, AI tools, familiarity with proposal generative tools (like Responsive)Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.Basic Requirements:Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of marketing, communications, writing, sales, proposal/project management or similar business experienceOR Associate's degree and 4+ years of marketing, communications, writing, sales, proposal/project management or similar business experienceOR 6+ years of marketing, communications, writing, sales, proposal/project management or similar business experienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
