This role focuses on building scalable, reliable and automated infrastructure solutions across cloud and virtualized environments. You will play a key role in shaping CI/CD pipelines, managing container ecosystems and supporting modern DevOps practices across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and manage containerized environments with a primary focus on DockerDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployment and infrastructure automationImplement best practices for container orchestration, packaging and lifecycle managementManage infrastructure across cloud and virtualized platforms, ensuring high availability and reliabilityAutomate operational workflows using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShellCollaborate with development, QA and platform teams to support continuous delivery effortsAdminister and optimize storage, virtualization or networking components as part of DevOps operationsMonitor system performance, respond to incidents and drive root-cause analysisMaintain documentation around processes, architectures and operational standardsContribute to ongoing DevOps maturity efforts, tooling improvements and automation initiativesRequired Skills & Qualifications6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, site reliability engineering or related infrastructure rolesDeep expertise with Docker including building, managing and optimizing containers at scaleStrong experience with CI/CD tools, deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code practicesProficiency with Python, PowerShell or similar scripting languagesSolid understanding of cloud services (Azure preferred), networking fundamentals and virtualization conceptsHands-on experience supporting production systems in enterprise environmentsStrong troubleshooting abilities with a focus on performance, scalability and reliabilityAbility to work collaboratively across engineering, development and operations teamsNice to Have / Equivalent ExperienceNetApp or comparable enterprise storage systemsAzure cloud services or equivalent cloud providers (AWS, GCP)VMware or similar virtualization platformsExperience with Kubernetes, Nomad or other orchestration toolsFamiliarity with monitoring and logging platforms (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)Exposure to secrets management, configuration management or infrastructure automation tools (Vault, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)Experience designing scalable infrastructure patterns that mirror these technologies’ use casesWhere We're Looking For ItSchenectady, New York100% Remote for the right candidate
