This role involves maintaining high standards of workplace safety and organization according to the 5S principles, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards. Focus:

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment using 5S principles, keeping vehicles, workstations, aisles, storage locations, and other warehouse areas neat and organized at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Comply with OSHA, MSDS Standards, and all relevant health and safety standards for the warehouse, along with company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and participate in the company’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program.
  • May be assigned facilities duties as needed (e.g., sweep, dust, mop, etc.).

Skill Set:

  • Familiarity with 5S and lean principles in a logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards and knowledge of OSHA and MSDS compliance.
  • Ability to wear and manage personal protective equipment effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet the operational goals.
