We are looking for a LPN– TMS Technician to help our clients reconnect their mind, body, and spirit to live their best lives


Our LPN – TMS Technician Position

Mind Body Co-op offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) at our new Lakeview office. This treatment will be used to treat individuals who are suffering from various psychiatric disorders. TMS is an FDA-approved non-invasive, non-systemic form of treatment for individuals with medication-resistant Major Depressive Disorders or OCD or those wanting to seek a treatment option that doesn't involve medications. The TMS technician will be working directly with the patients receiving this treatment while working under the supervision of the medical director and nurse practitioners. For this position, we are seeking an individual who is dedicated to the helping field and is willing to be certified to provide TMS services. We will provide the TMS training


In addition, as the Lead LPN you will be providing support to the medical team and assisting with scheduling, refill requests, prior authorizations, patient correspondence, in-office injections and vitals monitoring, blood draws for labs, and other office tasks.


Education and Experience

  • IL LPN license is required
  • BSN or higher is required
  • BLS Certification is required
  • Experience completing blood draws for labs and starting IV’s is preferred
  • Previous experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
  • Strong Communication Skills


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate TMS machine and assist nurse practitioners with administrative work
  • Providing patient education for TMS.
  • Conducting TMS therapy sessions & and scheduling follow-up sessions
  • Creating a safe and therapeutic environment for the patients
  • Assisting with any necessary prior authorizations for the TMS treatment
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines, charting necessary clinical documentation and billing
  • Keep workspace clean and organized
  • Must be able to work independently, but also as a part of a comprehensive team
  • Assisting nurse practitioners with day-to-day operations, patient care responsibilities, patient education, obtaining vital signs
  • Completing blood draws for labs and starting IVs (preferred)
