Financial Crimes Compliance SpecialistBy joining the Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) team at State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI), you will help shape and advance the firm's policies, procedures, systems, and controls aimed at preventing and detecting financial crime. The primary objective of this role is to support the FCC team in Italy in monitoring activities related to the enforcement of financial restrictions and transaction monitoring.This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.The team you will be joining plays an important role in the overall success of the organization. Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.As Financial Crimes Compliance Specialist, you will:Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for State Street Bank International GmbH Italy Branch ("SSBI Italy"), acting as Deputy MLRO, in the oversight of the implementation and maintenance of effective global and local policies, procedures, systems and controls in accordance with the global and local laws, regulation and guidance to enable SSBI to identify, assess, monitor and manage money laundering and other financial crimes risks.Collaborate in reviewing and uploading the monthly AML report ("Segnalazione Antiriciclaggio Aggregate") to the INFOSTAT-UIF portal, and assist in reviewing and confirming any identified statistical findings.Support the completion of the annual AML questionnaire, the execution of the annual AML/CFT risk assessment as well as the annual AML Report for SSBI Italy.Support and execute controls and sample testing within custody systems, ensuring alignment with Financial Crime Compliance standards.Conduct process analysis to identify FCC-related risks and contribute to remediation and controls enhancement initiatives.These skills will help you succeed in this role:Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing initiative and adaptability in managing multiple evolving tasks and priorities.Strong self-motivation and collaborative mindset, with the capacity to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Attention to detail, project management and organizational skillsAbility to quickly understand new processes and learn effectively in dynamic environments.High ethical standards and integrity.Education & Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of relevant industry experience in banking or financial servicesUniversity degree or equivalent, preferably with a prior experience in the Financial Crimes Compliance sectorExpertise in core financial crime compliance risks (Know Your Customer, Sanctions, Transactions Monitoring)In-depth knowledge of European and Italian AML/CTF regulations and best practicesExcellent communication skills in Italian and English, both written and verbalStrong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skillsAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
