Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing intricate HVAC systems and preparing detailed 2D and 3D construction documents using Revit. You will also be responsible for designing automatic temperature control systems, including control sequences, diagrams, and points lists, and preparing documentation and energy modeling studies for LEED certification.


Key responsibilities include coordinating design efforts with in-house teams, architectural clients, and building owners, planning project production processes, and performing contract administration tasks such as site visits, submittal reviews, and contractor support.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- EIT or PE certification preferred.

- 3-7 years of experience in HVAC consulting, with expertise in large air handling, chilled water, and hot water system design.

- Proficiency in Revit and strong technical knowledge.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Self-starter with effective prioritization and follow-through abilities.


Skills and Abilities:


- Ability to grow into a lead mechanical engineer and project manager.

- Experience with healthcare, higher education, science and technology, and workplace building types is advantageous.
