Description Join the dynamic and forward-thinking team at Leidos as a Senior Solutions Architect In this pivotal role, you will support the Business Area CTO across various technology initiatives, focusing on projects critical to the Navy and Marine Corps. Exemplifying leadership in technical solution design and implementation for CANES, NAVWAR initiatives, and Navy Cloud Brokerages, you will collaborate with customers at NIWC PAC, NIWC LANT, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, Marine Corps, and IndoPACOM. Position Summary: As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will engage with internal and external partners to craft innovative solutions responding to RFx requirements. Your contributions will also include planning Leidos Innovation Days, attending and speaking at industry conferences, and supporting pilot and IRAD projects. Clearance Requirement: Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required. Primary Innovation Responsibilities: Lead solution design and architecture for Navy/Marine Corps experiment activities (e.g., RIMPAC, Trident Warrior) to deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Conduct Assessments of Alternatives (AoA) on technologies and prepare comprehensive whitepapers and deliverables. Allocate up to 70% of your time supporting business development and capture activities, marketing campaigns, and customer engagements related to bid/proposal activities. Research and stay ahead of the curve on trends in AI/ML, GenAI, and software development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities for innovative solutions within Navy, Marine Corps, and IndoPACOM contexts. Maintain regular collaboration with various teams and external partners to advance pipeline opportunities and integrate new solutions. Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 15+ years of relevant experience; alternative degrees may be considered based on experience. Extensive background in the complete software development lifecycle, including systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing. Proven ability to incorporate AI/ML tools into software development and testing processes. Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, along with integration into enterprise environments. Strong grasp of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, natural language processing, and data analytics. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation within software engineering practices. Experience working with various software development methodologies and applying AI within these frameworks. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the capability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering collaboration across diverse teams and locations. A strong commitment to driving change management and cultivating a culture of innovation. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
