At Conair, we inspire our customers with innovative high-quality products and iconic brands that enhance their lives.Position SummaryThe Conair Engineering team is seeking a project manager with an engineering background and experience, preferably in a CPG company. In this role, you will be responsible for project management tracking and overall production and post-production calendars. This position will work closely with the industrial design, product, and engineering team and deliver timely project updates to internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in ongoing and new product development initiatives, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.Manage and improve documentation processes such as meeting minutes, action items, and product development calendars.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance project management efficiency.Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure all product details are up to date, and suppliers are adhering to deadlines.Maintain transparent and proactive communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, potential risks, and key decisionsAnticipate and solve problems using data-driven decision-making skillsDemonstrate ability to recover projects from resource, budget, or time-related setbacksQualifications/SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field2-4 years of work experience in Project Management with a proven track record of successful project delivery; engineering and consumer goods experience is a plusAdvanced proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft ProjectOrganizational and project management skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentPassion for driving innovation and continuous improvementProven ability to problem-solve and recover projects from setbacksEnvironmental FactorsWorking conditions are normal for an office environment.Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.This role requires an on-site presence Monday through Friday.What We OfferComprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision plansGenerous Paid Time Off ProgramsLife & Disability InsuranceFSA/HSA/Dependent Care FSAPaid Parental Leave401k and company matchEAP & Employee Wellness ProgramsVolunteer Days Paid Time OffFree breakfast and lunch in the Stamford officeAre you passionate about this opportunity but worried that you don't have 100% of the experience we're looking for?
