Aerospace Quality Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Engineer to join their dedicated team. As an Aerospace Quality Engineer, you will support the Quality Assurance Department, working closely with engineering and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Aerospace Quality Engineer Location: Rocky Mount, NC Pay Range: $45/hr plus OT and benefits What's the Job? Ensure compliance with AS9102 standards for First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). Analyze engineering documentation, materials, and components to verify conformance to aerospace specifications. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to facilitate initial production stages and quality assurance protocols. Conduct detailed inspections, measurements, and tests on components to verify adherence to industry standards. Review and develop FAIRs, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with AS9102 guidelines. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace quality assurance, especially in First Article Inspection processes. Demonstrated knowledge of AS9102 standards and aerospace industry requirements. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and excellent communication abilities. What's in it for me?
