Join our dynamic team as a Data Center Infrastructure Project Manager (PM) and lead the delivery of various network infrastructure and cabling projects within our sites. As a vital member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for driving project success through effective planning, coordination, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish program schedules and ensure targets are met for schedule, cost, functionality, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Consult with clients, deliver presentations, and resolve project issues.
  • Estimate, write proposals, manage project costs, and direct operations on labor requirements.
  • Participate in the conceptual development of construction projects and oversee organization, estimating, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage project delivery and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Evaluate materials and products for constructability and feasibility.
  • Schedule projects, determine labor requirements, and dispatch workers.
  • Inspect projects to monitor compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Supervise team members and oversee construction activities.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs.
  • Address delays, emergencies, and construction site issues.
  • Manage contract changes, develop project schedules and financial plans.
  • Complete all reporting and projections, including invoicing clients.
  • Recruit, train, manage, and supervise project-related staff.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners effectively.
  • Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Act as the company liaison to clients and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Be present for active on-site project management responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management, or similar.
  • 10+ years of direct work experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environments.
  • Track record of delivering mission-critical programs on time, within budget, and to applicable build, quality, and safety standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Experience building and leading teams.
  • Organizational, time management, and coordination skills across multiple disciplines.
  • Client engagement experience in similar programs.
  • Understanding of program management fundamentals.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • BICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications certifications preferred.
