Work Study, Student Support (Student Accessibility Services)Department: Student Accessibility ServicesLocation: Western CampusReports To: Assistant Dean, Student AffairsRecruitment Type: InternalRequisition ID: req6410Employment Type: StudentUnion Position: Non-UnionWork Schedule: DAYS TO BE DETERMINED BY HIRING MANAGER AND STUDENTJob DescriptionLearning Objectives:Manage the state mandated paperwork for the department, as well as required college documentsAnswer phone and screen incoming calls and mailEstablishes and maintain general files and recordsCreates, maintains and tracks applicable departmental informationComposes and prepares both routine and confidential correspondence, letters, memos, forms, reports and other documentsMay prepare recordsProvide clerical support to the faculty evaluation processPerforms other duties as assignedConsistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester; Maintain satisfactory academic progress; Adhere to College's confidentiality policy; Successfully pass background/drug screening; Answer phone and take messages; Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing; Open and sort mail; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Willingness to learn new technology; Assist with special projects; Other duties as assigned.Special Note: Number of Openings (1)Special Instructions to Applicants: During the application process, you may be required to attach a cover letter and/or resume.
