The position will also interact with current residents regarding day-to-day issues as well as coordinating the renewals of existing leases. The Leasing Consultant will serve as a central point of communication between the Community residents, Community management, and community maintenance teams.What we can offer you:Opportunities for career growthTotal rewards benefits packageFamily health insurance, 401(k) match, vacation, personal days, and sick timeCustomized training programsAssociate referral bonus planDiverse, equitable, and inclusive work environmentA culture that empowers you to make a differenceWhat you'll do to make a difference:Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the communityEffectively lease apartments and sell property's products and services in accordance with budgetEnsure fair housing standards in all matters when working with prospects and residentsFollow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trendsMaintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competitionAssist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choiceCoordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelinesComplete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums, and other formsRegular attendance and punctualityProper documentationFollow up with residents throughout the leaseReceive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow upWhat you bring to our team:Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core ValuesHigh school diploma or GED1+ years' customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing roleMust demonstrate support of BAL strategic driversMust demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer serviceMust be able to work on a team or in a team environmentMust present a professional imageMust be resourceful and well-organizedAbility to successfully work on a teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong working knowledge of MS Office SuiteExceptional customer service skills and a professional imageGood decision-making skills and knowledge on how businesses workPhysical requirements of the job:Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materialsMust be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objectsOur purpose at Bell Partners is to create communities our residents are proud to call home.
