Responsibilities


  • Processing accounts payable and vendor questions resolution.
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements
  • Audit and review of employee expense reports.
  • Assistance with the annual 1099 compliance, including determination of 1099 vendors.
  • Assistance with the Government reporting, state reports, sales and use tax reporting, retail tax returns, and other compliance reporting.
  • Assistance with the workers comp and insurance audits.
  • Tracking and tagging of new fixed assets; communication with the accounting team about placing new assets in service or removing old assets from service.
  • fixed assets inventory.
  • SOX compliance and audit support.
  • Onnboarding of new employees.
  • Establishment of prepaids and monitoring of accruals and basic account reconciliations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
  • 2- 4 years' experience in accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Payroll, AP, and AR.
