The work pattern for the job is Hybrid

The minimum and maximum salaries for this job role are below:

Minimum Salary - 68,000.00

Maximum Salary - 85,000.00

The Role

To support the Group Head of Compliance in actively and effectively the Compliance function, including triaging referrals and pr. Our Aspen Values are expected to be reflected in the delivery and performance of every role.

Key Accountabilities

  • To support efforts on assessing or implementing compliance activities and task.
  • To assist in triage and escalation of business referrals to Compliance
  • To support Compliance in delivering the Compliance Plan
  • To collate monthly MI for the use in regular reporting.
  • To actively contribute to the Compliance Team meetings to promote effective compliance management within Aspen.
  • Contributes to the preparation and implementation of the operational team plans to ensure these include operational considerations for delivery
  • Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives.
  • To assist and support with the development and enhancement of the Compliance Mandate and Plan
  • To help develop and maintain Compliance policies and procedures.
  • To provide support to the Compliance team on their development, enhancement and maintenance of other Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • To provide technical support to Aspen functions in the development of their frameworks.
  • To follow all Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Develop strong relationships with Compliance and other stakeholders - in particular Risk, Internal Audit, IT, Information Security, Procurement, Outsourcing, and HR.
  • To provide, or assist with, the provision of Compliance activities.
  • To provide supp0rt and input on Compliance initiatives and regulatory matters.
  • To support continuous improvement and automation in conducting assurance activities or obtaining Compliance MI.
  • Whilst there is no direct people management, the role-holder will be expected to influence and manage Aspen stakeholders to deliver in their role.
  • Actively coaches and develop more junior/less experienced team members
  • Develops own knowledge of standard procedures and processes
  • Act as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice.
  • Supports others in the team where appropriate to assist in the achievement of their objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in actively managing relationships.
  • Experience of task management to resolve identified issues with good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to effectively interact/influence with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on collaboration.
  • Ability to use identify streamlining by use of technology and manage application.
  • Ability to manage base framework requirements, produce MI and ensure queries closed in timescales.
