Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bilingual (Spanish) lawyer. The lawyer will need to have litigation experience and be passionate about going to trial. The day-to-day tasks includes: meeting with clients, drafting lawsuits, drafting and answering discovery, conducting legal research, drafting briefs, arguing motions, attending mediations, counseling clients and talking cases to trial. This lawyer needs to have a strong personality to advocate for his/her clients; and stand up to insurance companies and opposing lawyers.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Admitted to Alabama State Bar or willing to take the Bar Exam
- Experience or desire to take cases to trial
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Be responsible in meeting deadlines
