Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Social Media Specialist with multi-platform experience to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving brand awareness, maximizing growth, and boosting engagement across social media platforms. Your contributions will support both short-term campaigns and long-term marketing strategies, playing a key role in the company's success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, write (with copywriting support), and curate engaging content for various social media platforms to increase brand visibility and user interaction.
  • Content Calendars: Implement and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posts across all social channels.
  • Visual Media: Collaborate on creating compelling video and static content, customized to resonate with specific audiences and platforms.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and capitalize on trends and opportunities for content creation that enhances brand reach and engagement.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand voice and values, effectively reaching and engaging the target audience.
  • Content Scheduling: Proofread, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, providing actionable insights through monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Design & Editing Skills: Leverage design and video editing tools to elevate social media content quality.
  • Event Coverage: Attend events to create and post real-time content, engaging live with audiences to maximize event impact.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet tight deadlines, capture trending moments, and incorporate feedback into creative projects.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in a creative or digital agency, or in-house marketing team, with a focus on social media marketing.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong understanding of social platforms including Meta, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Writing & Editing: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and communication abilities, with experience managing multiple projects at once.
  • Social Media Tools: Familiarity with social media management tools to improve efficiency and content distribution.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • LinkedIn Management: Manage and optimize the company’s LinkedIn presence, regularly posting updates, sharing content, and engaging with followers.
  • Lead Generation: Execute social media and content marketing strategies to generate leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other platforms.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook /Meta (working with Facebook Audience Network), and Instagram to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Content & Blogging: Create, edit, and publish high-quality blog posts that showcase industry expertise and align with content marketing goals.
  • Analytics & Metrics: Monitor and report on social media and lead generation metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media marketing, with a strong portfolio of content creation, particularly in blog writing and social media campaigns.
  • Strong research and outreach skills to identify leads and craft effective outreach strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media data and metrics for strategic decision-making.
  • A creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and marketing innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
