Property Tax AnalystThe Property Tax Analyst provides analytical and administrative support to the Cushman & Wakefield Property Tax Services team. This role assists in managing property tax assessments and appeals, collecting and analyzing data, preparing client deliverables, and maintaining accurate tracking of filings and deadlines. The position is ideal for a candidate with a foundational understanding of real estate valuation or finance who is eager to grow into a consulting role within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and compile property assessment data and market information.Collect and organize financial statements, rent rolls, and comparable sales data.Assist in the preparation of valuation analyses using cost, income, and market approaches.Prepare and submit property tax returns and supporting documentation under supervision.Maintain internal databases, ensuring timely tracking of appeal filings, deadlines, and jurisdictional requirements.Support preparation of client deliverables, including summaries, reports, and savings analyses.Communicate with local jurisdictions to verify assessment and tax data.Provide administrative and analytical support for appeal and compliance activities.Assist senior team members in special projects, research initiatives, and client communications.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Experience: 03 years of experience in real estate valuation, property tax, or financial analysis. Internship experience in a related field preferred.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Exposure to Argus Enterprise, CoStar, or similar data tools is a plus.Familiarity with property valuation concepts and property tax terminology preferred.Other: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; strong written and verbal communication skills.CompetenciesAnalytical Skills: Comfortable working with data and quantitative information.Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in data and deliverables.Collaboration: Works effectively as part of a team.Learning Agility: Demonstrates curiosity and eagerness to develop professional expertise.Client Service: Maintains a responsive, professional attitude toward internal and external clients.Career PathThis position offers the opportunity to grow into a Senior Property Tax Analyst role through demonstrated technical proficiency, increased client interaction, and deeper involvement in appeal strategy and valuation work.Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with a variety of benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
