Accounts Payable ManagerThe Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing all areas related to the processing of accounts payable and related month-end close processes. The manager will supervise a team of four, ensuring that tasks are properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities include leading the daily operations of the accounts payable department, managing and supervising the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely completion of work, addressing and meeting tight weekly deadlines across various AP activities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting all accounts payable monthly financial information, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met, working with direct reports to establish goals and objectives, monitoring progress, and enhancing professional development, managing weekly and off-cycle check and ACH/Wire pay runs, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls, and handling confidential information with sensitivity and integrity.Essential skills include accounts payable management, invoice processing, 3-way match audit, reconciliation, invoicing, purchase order processing, coding, month-end closing, and leadership experience. Additional skills and qualifications include 4+ years of accounts payable leadership experience, knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, customer-focused with excellent customer service skills, strong research and analytical abilities, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and team player.This is a 5-day on-site role located in the Baltimore office, featuring a cubicle-style setup. The work environment is collaborative, with direct interaction with AP specialists, the Controller, and the Director of Finance. It is a fast-paced, hands-on, and operations-driven setting within a manufacturing company. Immediate access to equipment and workspace allows candidates to hit the ground running.This is a contract position based out of Baltimore, MD. The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
