Position Description

SQL Data Migration Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and managing the data migration process within the Finance Division which will include converting scripts/stored procedures from Oracle SQL to SQL Server.


Duties and Responsibilities

· Experience in data migration from Oracle SQL to SQL Server using Oracle SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio

· Expert in creating/modifying various stored procedures and functions as part of the data migration and cleansing process

· Extensive experience in complex SQL queries, analytical functions, and Oracle/SQL server objects

· Ability to manipulate large datasets

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels

· Ability to perform under pressure and multi-tasking

· Skillful problem solver with excellent analytical skills

· Ability to analyze the business rules and put it into programmable logic

· Experience in managing financial data is a plus


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field

· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data migration and advanced analytics

· Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
