If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.Budget Analyst I Under supervision, develops, prepares, analyzes and/or revises budget and supporting schedules for assigned organizations or program areas. Performs review and analysis of budget program and policy issues, analyzes financial trends or proposed legislation and recommends appropriate courses of action to management. Performs expenditure analyses and prepares budget-related financial summaries and recommendations for management review. Manage multiple fund accounts including budget preparation, monitoring, & adjustments; process all receipts and deposits; bank reconciliations; financial analysis & Projections, reporting. Comply with GAAP and audit procedures/principlesBudget Analyst II Under general supervision, develops, prepares, analyzes and/or revises budgets and supporting schedules for assigned organizations or programs areas. Performs review and analysis of budget program and policy issues, analyzes financial trends or proposed legislation and recommends appropriate courses of action to management. Performs expenditure analyses and prepares budget-related financial summaries and recommendations for management review. Comply with GAAP and audit procedures/principlesBudget Analyst 1: Entry Qualifications Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university; or two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience. Budget Analyst 2: Entry Qualifications Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; or four (4) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Budget Analyst 1 (FIP010) or equivalent position.Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary. DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered.
