Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for managing projects from initial planning through implementation and post project analysis. Primarily works with senior leaders, project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs and meeting plans are documented, charted, tracked and communicated to meet plan.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from planning through implementation.
- Primary liaison between senior leaders, project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs and meeting plans are documented, charted, tracked and communicated.
- Utilize and manage project management systems and software to plan timelines, tasks, milestones and deadlines.
- Communicate schedules and changes to all appropriate parties maintaining task of deliverables.
- Prepare agendas, meeting notes, project summaries and presentation for meetings.
- Plan and facilitate project meetings to align the team to methods and goals, tracking progress and tasks.
- Monitor task completion status to identify at risk elements and to develop mitigation plans.
- Designate resources, budgets and hours within the project and adjusts as necessary.
- Support data and task analysis on projects.
- Document executive updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management.
- Strong computer and PMP system skills and aptitude, including high proficiency with Excel. Proficient in other Microsoft platforms (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Expert Project Management software skills needed (currently use Microsoft Project).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills needed to interface with business leaders, team members and constitutes.
- Proficiency in problem-solving skills.
- Good team attitude, work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness and ability to multi-task and work overtime when necessary.
