Associate Teacher

Flowers Early Learning is a highquality preschool located in Watervliet Michigan and is currently looking for Associate Teacher serving classrooms with children ages 35.

Position Summary: Associate Teachers assist lead teachers with instruction classroom management cleaning food preparation and implement curriculum ongoing assessments and observations for preschoolage children utilizing developmentally appropriate practices consistent with agency policies Michigan childcare licensing and the Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Job Type:FullTime Program Year (10 months) NonExempt

Expected Schedule: MondayFriday 8a4:30p

Rate of Pay: HS/GED$15.61 Preschool CDA $15.93 AA $17.84 BA or Higher$19.12

Education Requirement: MinimumHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalence
Desired: Two years related experience

Other Selection Criteria:All candidates must be over the age of 18 for licensing requirements mustcomplete a preemployment drug screen physical examination and comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check and possess a valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation.
