What ties it all together are the friendly faces you’ll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable. What will you do in this job?Assist in management of all aspects of housekeeping operations: scheduling, ordering, inventory, discipline, etcCommunicate with Front Desk and General Management to ensure arriving guest rooms are clean and preparedEnsure staff spaces are clean and sanitizedInvest in housekeeping team through training and teachingMaintain quality control through room inspectionAssist team with cleaning and preparing rooms when necessaryKeeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisorAssist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquetsOffers assistance to guests and teammates where neededBe a utility player who can complete a variety of job dutiesThis job description describes at a high level what an Assistant Housekeeping Manager does, but no document can anticipate every single task, issue or project that could come up.  We work as a team and believe that we succeed together – these job duties may change based on the needs of the team and company as a whole.What skills and experience do you need for this job?1-2 years housekeeping management experience preferredPrior high-volume hotel/season housekeeping experience preferredWork-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is keyBe willing and able to work solo or as part of a teamBe committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standardsBe organized with a great eye for detailBe a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions The starting wage for this role is $19.00/hour. About Us:We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
