As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Augustana Chapel View, a 100-bed care center, you will play a vital role in helping our residents experience independence and dignity within a loving community atmosphere. Our Part-Time LPN positions offer a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
Requirements:
- Current Minnesota LPN license and be in good standing.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
