Now, you can be a part of our tradition of innovation. Your Responsibilities: Conduct thorough cost analyses and provide actionable insights to leadership. Maintain and generate monthly inventory valuation and reports, overseeing annual physical inventory counts. Calculate monthly inventory obsolescence, ensuring timely relief of obsolete stock. Analyze and uphold inventory, material, and work center standard costs. Provide in-depth monthly margin analysis to upper management by part, customer, and product line. Manage month-end close processes, including tracking plant-related activities and executing the inventory valuation process. Report and analyze month-end cost variances, highlighting discrepancies related to BOM issues. Monitor tooling and pattern job analysis, reconciling costs and reporting weekly to management. Help calculate activity, overhead, and standard rates for cost centers. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to maintain an effective costing structure. Deliver timely reports on production earned standard hours. Assist the controller with comprehensive analyses of departmental budgets and other financial matters. Compile and present financial data to facilitate effective business trend analysis and decision-making. Provide financial support for quoting and price negotiations, streamlining reporting processes. Engage in financial planning and budgeting, assisting in the setup and coordination of reporting processes. Participate in training programs for cross-functional skills and onboarding of new hires. Seek additional certifications for professional growth. What Makes You a Great Fit: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with advanced Excel skills (e.g., V-lookups, pivot tables). Experience with Oracle/ERP systems, ideally QAD/MFG Pro 8.6. What We Offer: Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000, depending on experience. Opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
