DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination and delivery of clinical services related to the psychological and emotional aspects of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program. RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Masters Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in counseling preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Eligible or licensed as Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor. BLS Required. SKILLS: Knowledge of individual and group therapy/counseling techniques. EXPERIENCE: Three years previous experience in a mental health/rehabilitation setting required, one of which must involve work with individual and group therapy. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: -Responsible to: Manager, Inpatient Medical Rehabilitation Unit ENVIRONMENT: Bloodborne pathogen B Multiple simultaneous activities around patient care. Exposure to infectious diseases and intermittent exposure possible to blood, excrements, odors and noise. Work area has normal heat, light and air.
